We had the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. The freshest mushrooms with a light batter, served with ranch .It was delish. I had the special Italian beef sandwich served on hoagie bread. I ordered the mono tots as the side. My hub ordered a thin pizza Italian stallion and my sis the nacho taco pizza . They were all very good. The waitress was in it very friendly and attentive . Such a cool place with its history and bar area.

Wow, what a treasure. Lovingly preserved and updated historic tavern that dates back to when the King of Beers, Pabst Blue Ribbon, helped local proprietors build palaces to celebrate a hard day's work. This is a Kewanee must-visit.
